Traditional farmhouse cooking in Halimba

Flatbread called ‘lángos’ used to be made of the bread dough remained. It was flattened and scattered with cheese, bacon, sour cream and garlic. Various types of furnace flatbread are known subject to regions, like ‘langalló’, ‘kenyérlángos’ or ‘töki pompos’. It is known as langalló and made for everyone’s joy in Halimba. Visit our village and meet the herbs of the region, try its teas then stroke bees at the Mráz family’s place, finally having an authentic langalló of Halimba.
