Herend is the centre of artistic porcelain manufacturing in Hungary. Due to the great programmes offered by the Visitor Centre of the Manufactory, you can spend the whole day in a meaningful way here.

The museum presents the history of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory and the development of the technologies used here with the help of its products, old records, photos, certificates and plaques. At the same time, you can see the products of Hungary’s oldest, world famous porcelain manufactory, grouped according to patterns, artists and time periods.

Available to tourists: during opening hours, by pre-arrangement.

Herend Village Pottery

With its long-standing history, the Village Pottery, which has been re-opened to the public, is another pearl and treasure of Herend. Visitors can see the masterpieces of hand-painted ceramics manufacturing and get an insight into its secrets. Do not miss it, for these two art forms are really characteristic of Herend.
