This interesting building built after World War I used to be the villa of colonel Béla Csikvándy and is now used as a scene of cultural life: temporary exhibitions, study circles, clubs and a number of interesting programmes await local residents and tourists as well.

House of Weaving and Folk Arts

Those interested in folk arts, including weaving traditions, can find great programmes in this building, which is used as a memorial museum, for the duration of their stay or holiday.

Country House

If you visit the County House in Kenese, you can explore many ethnological curiosities as well as the characteristics of folk architecture around Lake Balaton and gain an insight into local farming. In addition, here you can see curiosities, such as the records of the Kossuth Committee, publications in connection with the settlement or the memorials of the poet of the village, i.e. Lajos Soós.
