Bikeways, roads passable by bicycle

The settlements of the Bakony-Balaton Region are connected by public roads and dirt tracks almost all passable by bicycle. There is a purpose built bikeway in Balatonkenese, which is a part of the Balaton Bikeway. There is another bikeway between Veszprém and Balatonalmádi. Urban bike tracks can be found in Veszprém, Tapolca and Várpalota.

Description: The Veszprém Valley was carved into the dolomite upland by the Séd Brook. This winding route runs at the heart of the town, yet in a beautiful natural environment. Both the Castle Hill and the neighbouring Mt. St. Benedict reach deep into the valley. It is a 12-station route that can be travelled by bicycle, while taking delight in the hidden cloisters and secret spots of the town
